They were killed, along with a man, and baby girl by a Qadafi loyalist artillery strike on the large camp of migrant workers near the steel factory Wednesday morning, just hours before the IOM chartered Red Star I docked at the port in misurata to evacuate the last of the remaining maigrant workers...The IOM chartered aid boat Red Star I was finally able to dock at the Misurata port, Wednesday, after waiting offshore for almost a week as Qadafi loyalist forces shelled the port, mined the area outside the harbor and made seemingly every effort possible to deny aid organizations access to the besieged city. Despite NATO airstrikes, which reportedly reduced much of Qadafi's artillery capabilities around the city for the moment, at least 4 migrant workers were killed Wednesday morning as they waited for evacuation that may have only been hours away.
